10 REASONS WHY OHIO STATE WILL BEAT FLORIDA THIS TIME AROUND
10. This game will not be played at the O-Dome. Ohio State head coach Thad Matta called the previous meeting in Gainesville, "one of the best atmospheres" he's ever seen. Although the rowdy reptile fans were out in numbers in Atlanta this weekend, Florida will not have the homecourt advantage.
9. Ohio State is mentally tougher than three months ago. With 17 minutes left in the game, Ohio State had used a 9-0 run to tie the game at 40-40 back in December. From there, Florida went on a 12-0 run and the floodgates opened for a convincing 86-60 win. Since that time, Ohio State has escapped last second shots against Tennessee (twice), Michigan State, Wisconsin and Penn State. In addition, the Buckeyes survived a 20-point deficit to the Volunteers and rallied from a 9-point deficit against Xavier in the second round.

Yes it is, I was just commenting on what had been posted before me.

Had a huge effect on our offense but that's the past, and as I have said before, there's 130+ teams who would have gladly traded places with us, even with the loss. That game was a nightmare to watch, but that season was something I think every Buckeye can be proud of.
Ya know, the Florida run, from a fan of college sports has been fun and even enjoyable to watch. Historically, it was a school who was shadowed by the successes of FSU and Miami, so it's good to see them get their turn. I have always disliked Cryami, the thugs, the ego, and the attitude the fans had. That's I think where part of the irritation for the current teams has come from, to see a lot of fans who were always beaten down by the Miami fans turn basically into them, now I am a realist, I understand that's not how EVERY fan is. But the image that's come with it, be it Noah, or the massive amounts of image farks etc, but maybe I am old fashioned, I don't need to trash talk an opposing fan to celebrate my own teams success.
Granted, part of that comes from being a Chargers fan, where verbal abuse and mockery were a good part of watching games for me, but it's just more than that. Every year National titles are on the line, and sure I would love to see my team win every year, but the reality is thats not going to happen, so I sit and watch and enjoy great college athletics and admire how much the kids work and try to be successful.

Both teams are healthier and have evolved. You guys are playing two freshmen, three more months of experience does amazing things for 18/19 yr olds. Our team had a break down at the end of the season and feel the need to make up for it. Both teams now have the edge over the teams they were on December 23rd.

Really? Hor tford? What number does he wear?
EDIT: Nevermind, he's the guy who guards Odom.

I've been impressed with Horford since our game in December. That cat can ball. I don't know if Oden will be able to challenge him enough to cause foul trouble though. My opinion is that we will have to catch lightning in a bottle from behind the arc to win. (which is definitely possible)

Well, one scarlet-jersey wearing underdog just destroyed their highly-favored SEC opponent tonight (Rutgers annihilated LSU 59-34), so hopefully we'll do the same tomorrow night...
