The question after 30 minutes of scrimmaging against one another was whether the defense caused the Ohio State men's basketball team to shoot so poorly or the poor shooting made the defense look better than it was.
"You thought we played defense?" coach Thad Matta said. "I didn't think we played any.
"That's one of the big things, for our guys to understand the intensity. We didn't communicate. The only guys talking were the coaches. Great defensive teams are always communicating."

I find myself anticipating this coming season. Is there some way we can start sooner?  . The new players ,Koufas, Deibler, and the others should bring us to a new level of excitement about the Buckeyes this year. I can hardly wait until the first SLAM dunk. Oh My!.
And I want to see how the returning players have progressed. It would please me if we could get back to the NC game.
Lets play some HOOPS!

Ohio State will not quite be the same this year, but overreacting to the departure of Greg Oden is a popular pastime in Big Ten country. Sure this is an even younger team than last year and the incoming class cannot compare to last year (but when can it), but the Buckeyes will not fall off the face of the earth. Coach Thad Matta will have his troops ready to go and Ohio State will be near the top of the conference and back in the tournament. They just will not stick around as long as they did last year.
