Success in both the football and Basketball arenas dictate that there will be more upsets as parity and confidence grows in the smaller schools. This should be a very entertaining year in college basketball.
besides it gives us something to do until the football bowls .

Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun was reprimanded by the Big East yesterday for comments he made about the officiating after a 69-60 win over Northeastern a day earlier.
Conference policy prohibits such comments, Big East commissioner Michael Tranghese said. Calhoun apologized in a written statement yesterday, agreeing the comments were inappropriate.
Calhoun received two technical fouls during the game and was ejected.
One of Calhoun's technical fouls came after official Wally Rutecki heard the coach use profanity to address his players. Calhoun called Rutecki "a bad official" and "incompetent" during postgame media discussions.
