It would be hard to show any worse.
I'll be curious to see Matta's lineups. I got the sense he may have come to the decision that Diebler can find his way out of the slump on his own, the team needs more production from that spot.
The Hill/Butler backcout and Lighty/KK/Hunter frontcourt seems to be the best right now but Hill just looks like a TO machine to me. That lineup gives you 2 guys who can penetrate and make their own shots(Hill and Lighty) problem is neither one can shoot. Rebounding is a major concern with this lineup but I think thats the case with any combo on this team right now. Hunter is the only one who plays with any semblance of a physical presence down low.
Overall at this point in the season I have a lot more concerns than positive thoughts on this team. They play well on defense but the offensive end is just a mess.
Right now I'd say they'll probably lose to UF(oh goodie thats so much fun) and go into the B10 with 8 wins. Lets say they go .500 in the B10(get killed by UT) thats another 9 wins, so right now I'd say they are not looking good for the tourney. 17-13ish team with a strong RPI will probably land us in the same tourney we started the year in.
The good news is the talent is there to do much better than that if/when these kids ever decide to screw their heads on straight and listen to Matta.

I don't know how anyone can predict what they are going to get from this team, they could go 17-13 or better.......this is a team that beat Syracuse, was within 6 points of UNC late in the game and was up on Butler by 10 at the half.....also the same team who goes 10 plus minutes in most games without a bucket.....I realize their last game was not pretty but they are not being consistent, if they find some consistency they can be a very good team. They are not playing 40 minutes hard and with intensity.
