Well, since we obviously do not stand a chance in this game, there is no need for this thread...
Its locked for the time being.
I'd suggest to some of you that you start thinking before posting.
I'm beyond sick of the comments towards this team, the players, and the coaching. Its a chain reaction...one poster says something and then it slowly escalates.
If you want to bitch, go somewhere else.
Mods, anymore of the BS should result in an infraction or a BBall forumban.
Enough is enough.

Ohio State vs. Purdue
Tipoff: 7 p.m., Value City Arena, Columbus.
TV/radio: ESPN; WKNR AM/850.
Notable: The No. 15 Boilermakers (23-6, 14-2 Big Ten), just as young as the Buckeyes (17-12, 8-8), are tied with Wisconsin and playing for the Big Ten title. Ohio State, which has lost four straight, is playing for any kind of momentum. The Buckeyes were 12-3 when they lost at Purdue on Jan. 12, which started their 5-9 slide. "This week is payback," OSU freshman Evan Turner said. "We also want to get confidence going into [the Big Ten Tournament]."
Next for OSU: vs. Michigan State, noon Sunday.

Head of the class
Purdue, Ohio State lean heavily on freshmen, but Boilermakers have done more with their rookies
Tuesday, March 4, 2008 3:19 AM

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
The play was fresh in Thad Matta's mind because he had just seen a replay. Even had he not, you get the feeling it has been rattling around the coach's head all winter -- along with every other key play opponents have made that the Ohio State men's basketball team has not. The Buckeyes led by seven points at halftime at Purdue on Jan. 12. They began the second half making the Boilermakers work into the final seconds of their possession for a shot. With one second left, E'Twaun Moore -- one of nine freshmen who played in that game -- banked in a three-pointer. It sparked a 10-0 run that got Purdue back in the game and headed it toward a seven-point victory.
"We've yet to have a play like that happen for us," Matta said yesterday.
For all intents and purposes, Moore's shot began the tale of two seasons that comes full circle tonight in Value City Arena, when No. 15 Purdue puts its share of first place in the Big Ten on the line against Ohio State, which is reeling.
