Last night, Roberts would just stand on the baseline and the rest of the team was just playing 4 on 4. If the shot clock got under 12 seconds, he would then run off of a baseline double screen and try to get an open jumper from the opposite corner. It didn't really work. My dad and I were talking, and UD would have been better off with Roberts on the bench and Cleveland St. playing man to man.
Also, UD lacks a pure shooter other than Roberts which kills them against that Box and 1. Roberts draws a lot of attention but no one can knock down any shots.
If OSU ends up playing UD, they better come out of that zone or Roberts will go bat [censored]. Here is a quote from Cleveland State's coach: "The key was Roberts. I did not realize how good he was." That has pretty much been the sentiment of most of the non-conference teams Dayton has played all year. The guy averages 19 a game and only takes 12 shots a game.

That's what kills me about Jimmy Binnie. He makes like 80% of his threes in warm-ups, then never shoots during the game. He only averages just over 5 attempts, and from everything that I've seen, he's a pretty good shooter.
