Hearing some decent talk about PJ, and him improving his game...
Also hearing at this time we are looking at a PG by committee, with the candidates being PJ, Noopy, Simmons, and even Evan Turner...

OSU men's basketball: Questions linger over transfer's eligibility
Thursday, May 8, 2008 3:33 AM

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
More than a week after two junior-college players committed to play men's basketball at Ohio State next season, the school announced yesterday that it has signed letters of intent from forward Nikola Kecman and guard Jeremie Simmons. How many games Kecman is available to play, though, will not be certain until the NCAA investigates whether a club team he played for two years ago in his native Serbia included professionals.
"I'm not concerned about it," OSU coach Thad Matta said when asked about the possibility of losing Kecman for part or all of next season. "The people we've spoken to said they had documentation (that the team did not include professionals). They say he's in good shape."

This eligibility question scares me a little. I do not think that the teams (clubs) over in Europe are totally honest when they fill out documentation regarding who played on what team. I would not be surprised to see Kecman ruled ineligible by the NCAA even though he did not take money but some of his teammates did. Maybe they would only rule him ineligible for part of the season is that became true but his juco coach in Arizona says that if he played on a team with professionals then they played their season last year for nothing. Just hope it does not become fact.
