PF J.J.Grycko (Official Thread)
I cannot vouch for his basketball playing skills but I can tell you from some very good friends I have who are associated with Moeller that he is an extremely good kid and will fit right in with the program. Also, Thad does a pretty thorough background check even on walk ons.

JJ Grycko
I hear he is now 6' 10" and 220 lbs. (could use a little more weight). But I have heard from people who know him say he is a great kid and an excellent defensive player. Being a stater from Cincinnati Moeller's State Champ team, he will be a good addition to the Buckeyes
. How good will he be in say...3-4 years? |

I went to high school with a kid that started out at OSU just like Grycko. He played on a great H.S. team and only averaged a few points a game and was a decent player. He was also an excellent student and was a walk-on as a freshman. His senior year, there was an extra scholarship and O'Brein gave it to him for all of his contributions. In his 4 years, he probably played a total of 40 minutes but he was a serviceable practice player and always a member of the team. I'd imagine that Grycko will probably follow that same path.

J.J Grycko apparently left the team per Jeff Rapp on Bucknuts free board.
