Women's Final 4: Louisville 61, Oklahoma 59 (Final)
Besides Bubba Paris's two daughters, Oklahoma has a daughter of Olajuwon and a sister of Roethlisberger, plus a cousin of Bryon Russell (Utah Jazz late '90s).

Courtney Paris confirmed that she is going to pay back her scholarship because Oklahoma did not win the National Championship.
What the heck? Thoughts? |

The school would be moronic to accept that...won't happen.

I think a scholarship in her name would be the best thing to do. That way it's not like she's re-paying for her own time, but helping out other scholar-athletes in the future. It makes the University not look bad, and it honors the first 4-time basketball All-American. If the Paris family can only contribute $64k, then they can have others contribute to make the scholarship permanent.

Agree with the vbookie. Establishing an endowment in her name would be the best way for her not to lose face.
On another note, I don't think that I have ever seen two twins so different. Courtney is probably the better basketball player but she would have probably been even better if she would have followed in her sister's footsteps and lost all of that excess poundage ![]() |
