That's only 46 teams - room for 19 more in the the tourney.

Hopefully this will finally be the year for the Tar Heels to return to prominence.

LION - The expectations around SB are sweet 16 final four type! They have beat the eventual NC during the regular season each of the last 2 years so it is not like they are terrible...
And the Lady's were NC's 3-4 years ago! |

I can't argue with much of it, except I have to wonder who in the [censored] gave the Loserville Tardinals a first place vote.
If I had a vote, I'd probably put Wake Forest ahead of KU, but I can see it the other way too.As far as the Tar Holes returning to prominence... They are ultra-talented, but we all know how good Roy Williams is at turning all of that talent into national championships. I don't mind the no. 9 spot for my beloved Wildcats. They are a very young team, and they'll take their lumps during a brutal non-conference campaign. If this team is able to buy into Tubby's coaching like the last two have, they'll finish much better than no. 9. They have way more talent, size, and athleticism than the last two years' teams. |

27 What do you care about Syracuse?? You cant be a fb fan of OSU and a bb fan of Syracuse.....
Besides went 1-1 against Syracuse last year! Won by 12 and lost by 11! So they didnt own ND last year now did they.... Last edited by NOTREDAMECHIEF; 11-01-2004 at 07:40 PM. |

Let him have it, 27!
We can root for whoever we want! Besides, Jim Boeheim is a class act. I root for his teams too, even though they're not my favorites. |
