If one of these players has close to $2K in traffic tickets, he should get a buckeye on his foreskin for "stupid ass of the year."

Lacking that, perhaps a tatoo on his forehead: "I don't give a [censored] about the Buckeye football team or my fellow players."

Dukes is not currently enrolled. However I do not believe that he is "suspended".

Early speculation was that EJ was skipping a class, no info. on which one. Maupins would be the parking tickets and everyone knows Duke's problem. All things considered EJ will probably get things rectified. The other two seem like they are history.

Just how in the he!! do you get 2K worth of parking tickets...

You either disregard the law entirely or are too stupid to realize that those little things on your windshield are tickets....

either way its bad.

So we either have a guy with no regard for the law( don't need him on the team if that is the case - cause more problems will come) or a guy who isn't too bright ( well.... he does play DT right? ) Guess the coaches can just say... "you, go forward, get quarterback"

Now, if you care to explain it and give me another spin...I'm all ears......

I just can't understand how it could have gotten this bad.....ever.

As far as I know, just suspended. I don't know if it's attitude and grades. He's a good kid and he seems to do well in school but overall, I don't know. [censored] happens. In threads like this, I always try to remember that these "kids" are young men and that these young men are Buckeyes.

Whatever is going on with Maupin, Savante, he has made a horrible mistake and now he is paying for it. I am sorry that this has happened to your friend and respect your loyalty in standing up for him.

These things have a way of causing some people to see the error of their ways and to react positively. Things like this can be life altering times that define a person's character.

The challenge is now out there, let's see how they react. Let's hope this is one of those life altering experiences for Maupin and Underwood.
