Well I think he will be more of like a nickel back, but we play 5 dbs all the time, so he would be getting major pt.

Yeah, but grad said he'd be pushing for time at CB. I was expecting more to be a safety...

He'll push guys for sure and is a lockdown type corner from what limited film I could see. His burst/break and ball skills are exceptional at this point in his career. I'm not saying he will start this year, but I do think we saw from Haynes & Beckman this season that they are 1) not afraid to play young players in the secondary 2) they are not afraid to make a switch in-game if one guy is not getting the job done. Those two factors bode well for a kid like Kurt who has the skill and the attitude to make a splash.

That is a great breakdown. I just think first he is going to have to earn pt as a nickel back, b/c of the talent in front of him, but eventually he will play corner.

I think he is a true safety but I could envision him playing CB. I don't think it's his natural position but if he learns the technique, he could be a very good CB. He has the skills to no doubt. He is so physical though I think the best position to utilize his talents is at Safety and it would make sense to play him at CB if we are very thin at CB and he would have to play next year. Either at CB or Safety though I think he could make an immediate impact here.
