Spring Football - 2005 (mega-merge)
 We are having a BP tailgate at the spring game. That way we can meet some of the people we talk to everyday. I am usually there by 6:00, beer in hand by 6:01, grills fired up by 6:30. It would definately be a blast if we could get 10 or 12 guys there earlier to get some space and everyone else could come by whenever they wanted. We could give general directions to where we would set up and maybe put a huge BP banner or flag up so everyone knows where to go. We could hand out those little "hello my name is... Gost8 (Chris)" stickers. lol  Clarity is cool with this. He told me to run with it. If you think you might be interested drop me a PM and I will add your name to a list and as the time gets closer I'll get back to you and give everyone else the details too. Heck, who knows... if it goes over well we could meet up for games in the fall as well. The Texas game seems to keep coming up because many of the mods we appreciate so much could be there. edit: Tickets are on sale now at www.hangonsloopy.com They are $5.00 general admission. Game is April 23 at 1:30 pm Make sure you get over to the T-SHIRT THREAD and get your shirt(s) ordered. All profits go to pay for a new server to handle the increased traffic BP has generated (we get 30 new users a day and a ridiculous amount of hits). Fawcett Center is official. Some us will be there at 6am and setting up, feel free to come as early or late as you want but I would like to get as many people to walk to the stadium together in mass. Hoping this will serve as a huge ad for BP and get people interested to join and donate. Maybe we can double the tailgates for the fall games. Directions are pretty simple: Exit from 315 onto Lane Ave. and go towards campus past the Schott. Make a left on Olentangy River Rd. Fawcett Center is on the right. Last year was freakin great, minus the mild case of sunburn which isn't altogether a bad thing for that time of yr. They even post the NFL draft status on the scrolling Marquee around the rim of "C" deck so you don't have to miss out on that completely. Let me know about the tailgate, I will have to pass on the beers but will gladly donate a 12ver of Coke (I always take my two sons with me).

me and my clique had all ready planned on going again. went last year to my first and the love in the shoe was off the chart.I live an hour away so i am down for beer and grill.so hit me up with details.

Maybe I could bring my fold up poker table and we could get some Hold'em going. I got 1000 clay chips. Also a one of those fold up canopies.

This sounds like a great idea. I plan on coming up, and bringing a friend or two. If anybody's hosting a BP shindig, I'll be sure to stop on by, and bring food or drink.

Would it be a good idea to bring along a few DVD's (DVD, case, cover insert) of The Game?
Would any of you be interested in buying them that still need them?

Not sure, I'd have to give it some thought. Especially cuz some might want just the cover and case, whereas others would want the whole package. How much would you pay for all three?

Great idea about meeting up for the Spring Game. Is any one else attending Coach Tressel's Spring Preview? I think it is being held on April 6. My cousin and I are heading up to Columbus for that.
GoSt8 I'd be more than happy to help out in any way, grabbing parking spaces or whatever I'm in.

Yep. I've got the DVD of The Game and the cover for it.
I'm gonna work on modifying my wallpaper work to make an alamo bowl cover, so I'll let you know if I pull that off here in the near future.
