as has been stated, MoC in a landslide... for as much grief he caused us, he did win us a NC...

I'm late on this "debate" I guess, but I'll cast my vote for Mo C as well. Clarett stepped on the field and dominated. Ginn took a few games to warm up. Without Clarett, OSU does not win the NC in 02. With Clarett, I say OSU wins the NC in 03 - he's the difference in both losses that year, Wisky and Meatchicken.
Teddy isn't a bad second place though, that's for damn sure.

Why? Ginn will be a sophomore this season and thus will no longer be a freshman...

I have to go with Clarett on this also, Ginn played great for us and was electric, but we didn't win anything near what we did back when Clarett was a frosh.
His contributions to that NC year makes this an easy choice.

Awesome point! Ginn could sit on his ass all season playing PS2 and still have a more valuable sophomore year. Afterall, zero is bigger than all of the negative numbers!

MoC without a doubt. A better question would be who had the biggest impact on winning the championship.

I hope you aren't keeping the answers limited to MoC and Ginn. I don't think Ginn did a whole lot to win the NC in 2002.
However, if we're talking about all players on 2002 team, my answer is CK. His awesome decision-making and on-field leadership, as well as the fact that he didn't LOSE any games makes him my pick for "biggest impact." Of course, I think that without a kick-ass defense, Krenzel wouldn't have been able to win 10 games that year. So my short, easy, fair answer is "Craig Krenzel." My cheating answer is "the entire defense."

No, I was trying to say (without saying it) that this question is actually a little absurd, and our time would be better spent debating a different question. The only way someone could say Ginn had a bigger impact is if either A: They hate MoC so much that they can't give him any credit for his play on the field. Or B: They never watched him play.
I was thinking about starting a poll for the question I posed, perhaps now I will.
