I will definitely go to Austin to see the Bucks. The game is a week before school starts back up on campus. My friend who goes to Kent is a Texas fan, and his brother lives in Austin. Two of my other friends from OSU want to make the trip with us. I know Darryl K. Royal stadium isn't that impressive, but a trip to Texas will be awesome.

you guys are so damned spoiled with your friggin 100,000 + stadiums, dkr may not be impressive, but it is a great place to watch a game. Its like we are talking about texas techs glorified high school stadium.
also if they are still doing the, "give me a phat beat" thing when ya'll get there you are in for a good laugh. That might be the most embarassing thing that texas does

Austin...
Hope to see yall in Austin next year...I think you will have a great time....Austin has alot to do and a great night life...
I am planning on going up to Ohio for the big game...Can`t wait...I have heard so much about your game day atmosphere...Should be alot of fun...
As for tickets, It will be sold out but scalpers will have tickets they will just cost alittle...I tried to find someone in your Club Section for a swap but didn`t have any luck...
fyi...You can take ALMOST all Texas fans on their word as far as ticket swaps go...However, I would make whatever deals someone felt comfortable doing for club swap for home and away...

I will be there. I have some relatives in San Antonio and I have been meaning to make it down there for a visit. I guess the trip will have to wait until next fall...

On your Austin trip
We moved to Texas in the 60's and really enjoy living here, although not in Austin. Oh yes, it's different from Central Ohio; some pluses and some minuses. My reason for posting is to urge you to spend more time in the area than just game day in Austin. If you like small, quaint, somewhat touristy towns, drive out to Fredericksburg for German food. Try Wimberly for true hill country, or drive to Bandera where all the dude ranches are. The lake country stretches for miles, starting with the Colorado River in Austin and running north to Lake Buchanan. Or go toward San Antonio and stop in San Marcos. My point is that there is so much more than Austin, while admitting that Austin is a charmer. I love to return to Columbus for football games and to Ohio for the summers' evenings, but Texas is home now, so please enjoy it while you are here.
