I wish my team (terps) could play OSU

I think I finally understand you, what your problem is, is that the only games you watch or even check the scores of are Maryland Terrapin games, Because only someone like you could rank Wisconson ahead of Iowa in the Big Ten and make that amazing comment about Iowa and Minnesota. Every post you make you manage to offend me. You need to become a more knowledgable person before you start throwing words around.

I looked over what I said and I realize that I made a fool out of myself. I threw out facts that I thought were legit but didnt know for sure. that I apologize for but that alone does not exuse how some of you have acted. Some of you acted so arrogant. Like maryland is nothing. I said it before and I will say it again on a good year maryland is on the par with iowa. THere records are very close over the past 4 years. Only a one game differential.

I didnt come here to get insulted which some of you have done. One person called me a dork in the little reputation message thing. Another person questioned my age. I am not acting in an immature manor I was just looking for good conversation. In my first post I asked the opinon of you alls towards maryland. I know it was there opinion but they basically treated maryland like garbage and that also bothered me. Like I said before I apologize for my wrongs i.e. saying things without looking them up. But some people here have done worse things.

I also did not mean to offend anyone. I did not speak lowly OSU or anyteams in the big ten for that matter. I do not know how you all can get worked up.

Terps4eva, a little light smack talk should probably be expected on a football board... hope you don't let it chase you away. I don't see any way to compare OSU and Maryland and not end up with the seesaw all crooked - not because MD isn't a good team, but because OSU is pretty darn elite. Appreciate your enthusiasm for your team, though. Conference comparisons are always debatable... and debated they were. As far as checking facts before posting... well, it's a lot more fun to debate with accuracy anyway, isn't it?

Stick around and read up. Guarantee you'll learn a TON from the people here. I certainly have... mostly, how much I don't know.

BTW, grew up not far from DC and rooted appropriately, so I'll take that Redskins high-five.

Sry if u were offended but I threw out no insulting words. I think what you need to understand is that relating Iowa to Maryland is an insult. I wouldn't even put you on par with Wisconson, as was said earlier in this thread you can relate your team to Northwestern. Mybe its better if we stop this because it seems as though you can't handle being the only one on your side of the argument. You and ND can talk about comparing Maryland to Iowa amongst yourself and I won't say a thing I swear.

Apologies accepted, of course. Hey, if we didn't like you, you'd already be gone from this site. We have plenty of fans from other teams over here, and appreciate input from them (well, most of them, anyway). But you are in enemy territory, so you have to expect a little bit of smack, right?

The Eagles and Redskins are divisional rivals- so this comparison is completely unrelatable to OSU-MD. Many moons ago, when the Cowboys went 1-15 their only win was over Washington- who won the super bowl. Then, when the Redskins went 1-15 their only win was against the Cowboys- who won the super bowl. Md would enjoy no such luck against tOSU. If tOSU played Maryland this year we would win by 30, at least. Maryland puts a very talented player into the NFL every year it seems, but tOSU puts out superstars nearly every year.
One thing I'll disagree with my fellow OSU brethren on is this- Maryland could build an elite program. It would mean huge investments (hundreds of millions) into their facilities and a new attitude (basketball second). Since neither is likely to happen, Maryland will remain the Northwestern of the ACC- minus the ridiculous academic standards.

I lived in Maryland for 2 years before coming here to Florida and the fan base was so very different from the Ones at Ohio State. Woody Hayes brought much passion to our fine Institution. And the same will happen to the Terps under "Fridge" he is a fiery sort of coach and very likeable guy.

Your stadium is sort of the same as Northwesterns in a way. So give it some time and maybe in a few years you will get your wish, but of course the game will probably be on a saturday night at the "Shoe" And ........well, what can i Say, except - Good Luck if it happens. Since you are such an avid Terp fan, why don't you give us synopsis on what a Terrapin is. I know - but it would be neat to hear your words on this. Oh by the way I lived near Ritchie highway just off of aquahart and mary lane. Lots of drug arrest went off in that apartment complex. Wow-wow.
