'07 OH RB/DB Brandon Saine
![]() PiquaFootball.com Piqua (OH) Piqua Height: 6-foot-0 Weight: 200 pounds 40-yard dash: 4.34 seconds Bench max: 265 pounds Vertical leap: 31 inches GPA: 3.3 Scout Profile Sorry, I don't have any measureables on Brandon (I couldn't find any). If one of the mods, or anybody for that matter, finds some.... just add them into the thread. I just figured I would get a thread started on him because I have a feeling he is going to be a hot commodity here in the next recruiting season. Brandon Saine looks like an absolute stud, imo. He is built, has unbelieveable speed, and could give Bradley Stephens a run for his money to be the back in the 2007 class. I am a bit hesitant as to who I would rather have, but Saine is definitely catching the attention of many. ![]() Free BN Track Finals story. "Sophomore sensation Brandon Saine of Piqua won the 100 meter sprint in a time of 10.86 seconds. Freddie Lenix of Glenville finished fourth with a time of 10.99 seconds. " "Saine was back at it again but this time it was in the 400 meters. He won his second race of the day with a time of 47.85 seconds. " "Some in attendance were saying that if Saine had entered the 200 meter event he could have earned three of these gold colored medals on the day. Anyone whose seen them both, who do you think we'll be a better back Mabin or Saine?

The track stats are impressive and all, but what has he done on the football field? Stephens is probably one of the top backs in the nation for the 07 class and Mabin has also put up huge numbers.

i haven't seen saine at all and haven't seen mabin in person. you gotta think that saine has more upside with the more legit size. still though it is hard to argue with the numbers mabin puts up too.

This is a kid alot of people might want to look at in the near future. Although there is no crystal ball too tell how well a young man will do in college; he has all the tools to excel. He can hit and he also can take a hit. He has decent vision (needs a little refining but it is still good enough). OSU has had an eye on Brandon so we shall see how it all pans out but this kid could be exciting as a Buckeye ...

My friend from Piqua that plays with him says that he is a scUM fan. However he said that it isnt a big deal because it isn't like he follows college football alot and shouldn't be a huge factor in his recruiting.

I don't have any of the "inside" info. I leave that up too Nevada/Milli/OG21 and a few others for that info. I just know he's a great raw talent and have seen him a few times after a few freinds informed me that OSU had an interest in him.
It will be interesting to see where he goes. Hope he stays clost to home and plays for OSU. |
