i saw that BGriffBuckeye mentioned that he was excited with the wide reciever class coming in so far with Saine, Sanzenbacher and Washington. I know that saine in regarded as a highly talented running back, but is there discussion out there that he may be used as a reciever instead

So I get my e-mail from Bucknuts and I'm excited. Then I check this thread and I don't know what's going on. I'll just wait to hear it from here before I celebrate.

From todays' Dayton Daily News:
http://www.daytondailynews.com/sport...2706osufb.html OSU lands coveted Michigan player Recruiting Web site ranks Taurian Washington 23rd-best receiver in class of '07. By Doug Harris Staff Writer COLUMBUS — Michigan usually has its pick of premier football prospects within its borders, but one high school powerhouse there is starting to become fertile ground for Ohio State. Receiver Taurian Washington of Orchard Lake, Mich., made a verbal commitment to the Buckeyes this week, according to recruiting Web sites, becoming the seventh member of the 2007 class. The 6-foot, 180-pound senior-to-be is ranked as the 23rd-best receiver nationally by Scout.com and had offers from Michigan and Wisconsin. He's the second player from St. Mary High School to choose the Wolverines' archrival in the past two years, joining defensive back Aaron Gant. "He's a great-looking player," said Duane Long of Scout.com. "Think Santonio Holmes with a little better speed." Gaining a foothold in Michigan has been a significant feat for the Buckeyes. "For so many years, Ohio State has been fighting Michigan for the best in Ohio," Long said. "Beating Michigan on their home turf could really cause them problems." |

Scout $ (Michigan site)
7/27 Big time damage control piece from the staff at GBW... It's pretty hilarious actually. Says that BN was premature in the reporting of the commit. |
