Man, I really wish we would have been able to get Backes...I hate seeing studs from Upper Arlington end up somewhere else...nice to see three of our studs make the team though

Interesting that Backes is on the team as a scholar/athlete. At the end of June it was reported that he won't be playing football for NW this year due to a shoulder injury.

The Playboy All America team was selected in May. The events actually took place back at the end of Spring ball (there is a thread about this, as well as Santonio's bullriding exploits, around here somewhere).
