All I know is I had a conversation with my Buckeye Tree, and it was mighty [censored]ed. I'd expect Ohio State to change it's mascot in the very near future, I'm thinking "The Ohio State Nice, Very Concerned For Your Feelings People."
The Mascot can be an image of .... well, actually, it's best if there is no mascot.
I also hear due to people being alarmed at the competitive nature of football (and all sports) and the violence it breeds in children, future press releases and newscasts regarding games will proceed, in their entirety, as follows:
"Today, Ohio State played [insert school]. They had a lot of fun, and both teams have a great feeling of accomplishment and sportsmanship."
