actually it was a game winning FG over the out-stretched hands of Lavar Burton, I mean, Arrington, but other than that, your story is right.

I think the most interesting thing here is that Santonio Holmes is not in the top 10. I still think Holmes is the best reciever in the country...hard to leave him out of the top 10 in the conference if that's the truth.

I noticed that too, JXC. For being considered arguably the #1 receiver in the 2006 draft next year, you would think he'd be considered a top 10 player in the Big Ten...

But we have to go to the Big Toilet, while the weasels go to Iowa. So that pretty much evens that out.

People still drinking the Penn State kool-aid. I've said it for 3 years now, they haven't been back, they aren't back and they won't be back. Maybe I'm totally off here, but I just don't see it.

I don't think it's feasible to say they won't be back. Hell, if Cal, Kansas State, Oregon State and Iowa can put together runs of top 25 teams, then certainly Penn State can again. Now a legitimate question set is whether Joe can bring them back, and if not, how long will it take a new coach to do so, and how many new coaches/seasons will it take. But I do think they'll be back eventually.
