Just shows that having your highly touted players on Special Teams is not a guarantee of success.
It demands something else, called, um -- coaching. And that was Edwards.

Do they still have that orange squeezing contest at the Citrus Bowl? That's the only title they have a realistic shot at this year outside of defending the title of "Most Incestuous Program". They won't even win the actual game, so they better start practicing their orange squeezing right now.

Damn. I hope Lloyd and Herrmann don't 'fix' the defense, otherwise that would ruin one of the greatest traditions in college football, The Running of the QBs.

When I saw that Edwards was on punt coverage, I thought it was because Michigan used him to bait teams to thinking they might fake the punt. I noticed that a few times the Bucks double-covered Edwards on the punts. When I watched the game on tape later, I found out that he was there to stop Ginn. I thought, "That's pretty stupid - take out the guy who's been there all year and has been practicing tackling people all year, and put in some guy has been maybe practicing for a week?" Was that really his first game as a punt defender?
