i just finished watching it and wow. mark may was the biggest asswipe there, he argued every point and would not shut up. trev questioned ohio states offense and didnt seem to have any clue to what the hell we did our last 2 games of the year. "their offense is horrible" i think he said. corso said he picked ohio state only because he would be there sept. 10 (kind of jokedly but you can question it), when he picked them for the national championship i think trev said something like "how many times you going to columbus this year?"
typical idiotic espn view of ohio state, except kirk |

[censored]in' Mark May is a token boy, while Trev Alberts is a country [censored]in' bumpkin. As stated above, I wonder where the "Herbstreit has no loyalty!" asswipes are now...

I still cannont believe that after how we finished and how many returning players we have coming back that both Mark/Trev cannot seem to find one good thing to say about OSU. Was it me or does it actually seem like Herbie was gett'n kinda frustrated with the way Mark/Trev were acting. You can always tell when Herbie disagrees but he was very expressive this time around.

you gotta love kirk, theres a ton of pressure not to be a homer at all or pick them for anything, if any other team's fans watched that we would hear the "look at kirk showing his scarlet and grey colors. he has alot of guts picking us on national television, especially with all the other dumbasses questioning every god damn positive thing he said.

I mean [censored] we have the best linebackers in the nation... one of the top Secondaries and a d-line that is top 20 (holding out on d-line to see how they are pass rushing). ALL OF THEM SAID "defense wins championships"... but yet both Trev/Mark were unable to say well "Hey you know OSU returns 9 returning starters on defense".
If they want defensive football teams look no further than the buckeyes in 2005. |

I am going out and PREDICTING that HERBIE
picks us to ROLL Texas on GAMEDAY Sept 10th! I think secretly and deep down he feels (as I do) that this one may be ugly for TEXASS!

Herbie knows we have a winner in C-Bus. I think in the back of his mind he thinks Texas is walking into the lions den. He knows the pieces are there and are looking like they are slowly falling into place. Punter, PK, CB , and RB are questions that Kirk believes have been answered.
Kirk mentioned the talent of our WR,s. Gary Danielson and Kirk have both said that Troy Smith+ our WR's=big trouble for our opponents. Add a running game to that equation and we are going to have a dangerous offense. |

I'm almost certain Trev Alberts said we'd beat Texas by 17 but he probably said it jokingly. Alberts tried to argue that because our offence was atrocious last year, it will be horrible this year, but Herbstreit counters with the spread-offense, Smith at QB, better running game etc. and effectively tears him a new one.
Kirk picking Texas A&M to win the Big 12 south seemed pretty far fetched in my opinion (and probably lost all the respect any Texas fans had for him). As far as the Texas by 17 comment, I can see hornfans.com posters going "WE'RE DOOMED!" in their sarcastic but hilarious way. |

For the conference winners, I'm pretty sure they picked like this.
SEC - all four went with LSU P10 - all USC B10 - tOSU for Herbie and Corso, Trev went for scUM, May for Purdue ACC - VaTech for Herbie and Trev, Miami for May and Corso B12 - 3 for Texas, Herbie for aTm Big East - Who cares (OK, 3 for Louisville, May for Pitt) |
