I reluctantly had to choose Texas. I think that the total High School football atmosphere (including bands, cheerleaders, etc...) is better in Ohio. But if you limit it to football only, I gotta go with Texas. Their football teams are like small College programs with their facilities and staff. There are some programs in Ohio like that too, but nowhere near as common as Texas.

Imo, it has to be ohio or pennsylvania. there has never been a super bowl played without a big 33 game alum. there are five members in the pro football hall of fame from stark county ohio alone. i know, you said high school, but i think that what ive mentioned is proof that ohio is the "heart of it all" when it comes to football in general, high school in particular. .

I avoided homerism and went with Texas. Based on tradition and fan support, as well as producing college and pro players.
