Tickets

On the day of the game, are there locations around the stadium where buying/selling tickets is illegal?

It looks like I will be holding up 2 fingers to buy; is this a problem (other than the cost of the ticket being high?)

If illegal around the stadium, where is it legal to buy tickets?

from my understanding it is illegal to sell tickets at more than their "face" value, ticket sellers have gotten around this in the past by selling you a certain item(can be anything, sometimes sellers use a sticker) for lets say $500 and giving you the tickets for free, so basically you buy the sticker or whatever and get the tickets for free

the only real thing illegal about scalping tickets is selling them for more than "face" value, ohio state cannot not stop people from selling or else you wouldn't see people at all selling around the stadium, they do however "discourage" it

Have no fear, just walk down Lane Ave and there will be scalpers and tickets everywhere.

Word of advice: Do not buy from the first person you see, get closer to the Holiday Inn and try to buy from someone that is not a scalper.

Good Luck.

guys - I have an opportunity to buy two tickets in 4C for $250/ea. I see these are at the top center of the shoe, has anyone sat near or in this section? Do you think we would be better off buying on Lane on the 10th?

If you're talking about the Texas game, I would suggest buying them. You won't do better than $250 per. 4C isn't the best, but it's at the opposite end of the stadium from the scoreboard, so they're much better than south stands. If I was you, I'd buy them.

As for buying tickets on the day of the game...there are "licensed" scalpers that ARE allowed to sell tickets for more than their face value. If you do not carry this license, you can get it trouble for SELLING tickets, but no matter what, you cannot get in trouble for buying them. As for where to buy them, I would suggest anywhere on Lane. The closer you get to the stadium, the more expensive the tickets get.
