If you thought the Buckeyes Had QB Questions
Consider the fate instead of Florida State.
This was posted just 30 minutes ago.
We all well know the Seminoles issues with "I am God", Lyme disease and other causes of lack of depth.
Here is the net result. A Redshirt Freshman will get to be the signal caller for FSU.

Seminoles to Start Redshirt Freshman at QB <!-- END HEADLINE -->

Redshirt freshman Drew Weatherford will start at quarterback for No. 14 Florida State in the season opener Monday against No. 9 Miami.
Weatherford beat out fellow redshirt freshman Xavier Lee for the job.
"It looked from about the third scrimmage on that Drew would be the guy you'd start," Florida State coach Bobby Bowden said Wednesday. "He has all the tools to be an outstanding quarterback."
Bowden said he considered Weatherford the starter and Lee, possibly, the closer.
"I want both of 'em practicing with a number one mentality," Bowden said.
The veteran coach said he expected Weatherford and Lee would battle throughout the season for playing time.
"They will continue this competition," he said. "This is not a season-ending contest."
The competition at quarterback came down to the two inexperienced passers when Wyatt Sexton was lost for the season to Lyme disease.
Weatherford played one play last season, spraining his ankle against North Carolina in the fourth game of the season. He had surgery on it this spring, but has been healthy throughout August, while Lee has been troubled with a sore arm.
Bowden said Wednesday that Lee's arm is now fine.

Told you all back in the spring they had serious QB issues even with "God"...without him they are completely [censored]ed. This kid who got the nod sucks, he just won't turn it over as much as Lee will.
You will see Lee play this year because the first kid will get knocked out or be horribly innefective because they also have issues with the OL(as in talent issues). This is the Bellisari/Mocherman(sp) option we had in 99. Lee is mobile enough to survive behind a bad OL, the other kid is probably a better QB but won't look like it when he has to run for his life a lot.
Teams will load 8 or 9 in the box, shut down the run and just dare FSU to pass. Then if they get behind teams can just come after this kid/disguise coverages etc..they will just shred FSU's offense.
8-4 type year at best.

Let's see if Kyle Wright is going to live up to the hype for the Canes. I'm not so sure he'll be better than Berlin from the jump. Plus they have to hope that Moss or one of their 2004 recruits can reach even the Gore/James Jackson level, let alone McGahee or Portis.

And don't forget FSU's crack medical staff and team of brilliant physicians ... you know, those people who have diagnosed Lyme Disease in Tallahassee.
