Thoughts on Spurrior's return
well, the Gamecocks came out like gangbusters, but faded late, and really had to hang on at the end... i can't believe UCF has lost 16 in a row... they totally dominated the Line of Scrimmage for the entire second half... the Cocks threw for 330, but only rushed for 44 yards... that ain't gonna get it done in the SEC...
Darth Visor has his work cut out for him... the Cocks are gonna struggle this season...
anyone else watch it?

Looked good at times...and showed their youth most of the time.
The young guys will be good...but not this year.
Anyone notice Carlos Thomas...former Buckeye target?

He is very fast...great game speed. Had a nice catch on a jumpball on the sideline.

I just watched parts of the 1st half but agree 100%. UCF dominated the point of attack they were just too slow and unathletic out in space to close the deal. USC looks like they will struggle to run and struggle to stop the run..not a good combo in any elite conference but what does Superior care? He just wants to throw the ball around the field all day.
They can't just out athlete anyone in the SEC like they did to UCF tonight...Grad should have fun busting the balls of USC faithfull this year.

good point on the youth factor... there is talent there, for sure, but inexperience showed against a very hungry UCF team... the Black Knights will be okay this year... they just gotta break the goose egg...
i wasn't even paying attention to Carlos Thomas... doh!
on another Buckeye related note, did anyone else notice that UCF's Offensive Coordinator is Tim Salem?
