There is a reason USC gave up fewer yards. Ohio State beat Locker to death. That was in evidence in the 2nd half, when UW couldn't get anything going after their abortive 1st drive (until garbage time). One week later they played UCLA, who took a 'cue' from the Buckeyes and beat Locker around some more.

Everyone talks about how the Trojans were banged up, starting with the Washington game; but the fact is, Locker was a meat milk-shake by the time he met the trojans (2 weeks after the Buckeyes kicked his ass).

When he met the Buckeyes, he was unbruised and unbattered. He'd never been really smacked by true D1A talent. By the time he played USC, he was a humbler and wiser puppy; but a much less physically able puppy.

Did anyone see Mark May get into it with Rece Davis on the Single Season Rushing Record? Rece made a great point by saying why shouldn't they include Barry Sanders stats in the bowl game if they are just going to do the same for UCF's HB (can't think of his name). Mark May acts like he loves this player from UCF because he would not agree with Davis about that.

Did anyone just see ESPN? Mark May and Lou Holtzslch were about to punch each other out!! Lou said he hopes they have a show on the 8th to dawg him out after we beat the Tigers. May was spouting off about playing Akron again and even Rece said that Gholston "owned" scUM's offensive line said that May knew it. Can't wait until someone posts that one on youtube.
