Rushing D is something to crow about.
Add one more positive note - our offense has inched up to 58th.
Still need more work on the passing game.

The cool thing is that we have the number 1 ranked rushing defense after playing a schedule that includes the #2 ranked rushing offense (Texas). Its not like we have been playing patsies.

Although we all love to see our teams in good positions statistically...
<TABLE class=statstable><TBODY><TR><TD> Scoring Defense </TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD> Nebraska </TD><TD> 5.33</TD><TD align=middle> 1</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
that just shows how early it is and how much things can change, no way in hell will Nebraska be in even the top 10 by season's end in scoring D.

Thanks for the info. What is even more remarkable is that we are ranked that high in run defense and scoring D after playing Texas and Iowa (two preseason top 10 teams) in 2 of the first 4 games.
