Rutgers 37, Pitt 29 (Final) or RUMOR: Pitt has a football team
Geez - anyone catching any of this?
Pitt-0 Rutgers 20 (not a typo)
7:49 remaining in the 2rd quarter.
Who amongst the HS College prospects would now want to sign an LOI for Wannstedt?
I truly wonder how many will jump ship from their commits.
Pitt just picked off the Rutgers QB Hart, their ball at the 1-yd line.
But Palko's numbers right now look very poor.

against Rutgers??? Who has, right now, over a 100yds on the ground.

Wanny was horrible in Chicago and Miami and so far it's not been much better at Pitt. He has got to be one of the worst coaches in the business. To his credit he has been able to get several quality recruits to make verbal committments to the Panthers but you have to wonder how many of those verbals stick.

Honestly, isnt that so. ALL of those verbals were issued before the season even started.
Harris had basically this same crew actually competing in the Big Least.
I think Wannstedt will have a very, very hard time if one of the top commits (Byham, Pinkston, Dickerson) de-commits. At some point a kid with options exercises them if the ship's current and future captain is dragging a program down into an 1 and infinity record.

Joe Thomas comes to mind.

I completely agree. So far Dickerson and Thomas, for example, are saying the right things but if things continue you have to believe these kids will start looking elsewhere.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
Anybody catch the Big East promo commercial during the game where they went out of their way to mention the automatic BCS bid? They know they're getting close to losing it...

They should take that automatic bid and give it to the Sun Belt Conference for christ's sake.
In 5 years, Wannstedt will be coaching a jr. high squad in Erie, PA. if he doesn't improve. It's not like he has less talent than last year's squad.
