With that schedule coming up, I think Georgia's stay in the top 5 will be short lived.

Even if we win out OSU will have its hands full staying ahead of a one-loss SEC Champion. We need a couple of our opponents to stand out and stay high enough in the ratings to make our wins credible in the eyes of the pollsters. If Louisville can jump us, so can a Tennessee or Auburn that has beaten Georgia and Alabama.
IMO only an undefeated major can keep the SEC champ out of the Rose Bowl.

Well, there are no undefeated mid-majors or independents, and there's no undefeated team left in the Big Least.
And it's quite possible that the SEC champ could be a 2-loss Tennessee, Georgia, or Florida team that has a non-conference loss to ND, GaTech, or Florida State, respectively.
But I agree with your position that a 1-loss SEC champ is a threat to jump us in the BCS.

So as of right now, who are the hypothetical 1 lossers to jump us in the polls, over the course of the season?
If SC drops one, they'll be ahead of us
if Texas drops one, they'll be ahead of us
If VTech, Georgia, FSU, or 'Bama drop one, we'll still be ahead of them.
But if CAL drops one (to USC), they might jump us.
You guys, it might take an act of a higher power to get us back into the Rose Bowl.

Not neccessarily. Just because Texas beat us, it doesn't mean we won't jump them. It happens every year. If we're around 5, USC should fall behind us.
