Definitely a small world
Yesterday my youngest daughter was at my house so that her, my other daughter, my brother, and I could call my Mom in Florida and wish her a Happy other's Day all at once. Before we called, she said, "Hey, Dad, my roommate knows someone who plays for Ohio State." I asked her who the player was, and she said she couldn't remember but that he has a "weird" name and he's a freshman. When I started looking for freshmen on the roster with an "unusual" name, the first one I called out was Ryan Franzinger, and she said, "That's him." I asked her how her roommate knows Franzinger and evidently Franzinger went to Holy Cross before Ohio State and that her roommate's boyfriend went there with him. Evidently her roommate has met Franzinger and they chat fairly regularly via internet. Anyway, not much of a story but I thought it was pretty cool that my kid ends up rooming with a gal that's friends with a member of the team. Now maybe I can finagle some freebies...

I know this guy..., well OK, I don't know him but I read his posts on the internet and his daughter's roommate knows Franzinger. And guess what? He's giving me tickets to the Michigan game!!!!
