OSU on the road 2001-current
Record: 11-8 (.579)
Total Pts: 376-360
Avg Score: 19.8-18.9
Sorry folks, thats un[censored]ing acceptable. Take out the miracle of 2002 when we went 4-0 on the road and JT's 7-8 after tonights debacle.
Forget the [censored]ty offense for a minute and dwell on this fact, we can't win on the road at much better than a .500 clip.
As much as I love JT he needs to rethink what he's doing offensively and what he's doing in order to get the team prepared to go on the road because both area's have been lacking his entire time in Columbus.

That is so hard to believe. I had no idea what our record was like after bye weeks and on the road against ranked teams until someone posted it last week.

Actually, I'm almost positive it gets worse if you only consider conference play:
2005: 0-1
2004: 1-3
2003: 2-2
2002: 4-0
2001: ? (does anyone have this?)
So that's 7-6 in away Big 10 games under Tressel, and I'd imagine it gets worse, b/c we weren't very good in 2001.

you people honestly expect us to go undefeated every single year, i'm sorry nobody is perfect, look at the past indiana teams, if you take out this year they haven't done anything and think how their fans feel, we have a chance to go 10-2 and sure that may not be a national championship, but think of how many teams would love to go 10-2

Couldn't agree more Jaxbuck!!
Think about 2002 for a second.
Cincinatti---almost lost, couldn't get closer
Purdue---Holy Buckeye!!!!!!!!!!
Illinois-----Double Overtime?
I can't remember the other.

So whats your point? Lower our expectations to IU's level?
The pieces were in place to make a NC run this year and once again the offense has decided to not participate. The frustration with that tired old theme has nothing to do with spoiled fans and unrealistic expectations.
