Cheapshot
Im not even a Boston College fan, but this gets the blood running thats for sure. This is video of Virginia tackle Brad Butler giving a cheap shot to BC defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka, who was already injured.
The refs definantly missed this one, ejecting the wrong guy...

Ridiculous...I thought Coach O'Brien was masterful when he sent a tape to the ACC and the publicly said he wasn't going to tell them what to do, but that he "wanted to know if this is the way we play football in the ACC". Puts a major impotus on them to do something stern.
As for Groh, he says he asked his player about it, but refused to say what he said. Sounds like a cop-out to me, though I guess he could handle it in-house.

Its bad enough to have a cheap shot like that, but to see a player limping because he injured his leg, and then to cut block him down there....
That is just ridiculous

The guy should be suspended for at least 5 games...it's not like it was an extra step, or just out of bounds, or whatever...he saw an injury, after a play, and tried to end the guy's career.
That should never be tolerated in any fashion.

Boston College was down 14-7 in this game, and then played tough crisp football to win 28-17 after this play. It was the ABC game in my region, so I gave it a gander. This was the play that fired them up to go on to the victory, so I guess it didn't exactly work out for the Lumberjack-looking guy.
Also, DeJuan Tribble of Cincinnati (North College Hill, I think?) was making plays all over the place for BC. He's a nice cornerback/return man. Picked up two fumbles, broke up a TD pass, had a nice return, etc...Nick Larkin of St. X and the BC linebacker from Elder, I believe, were not big factors. I would say that the Bucks are about on an even level with BC.
