 The turf in the Horseshoe does happen to be a combination of synthetic fibers and cool season turfgrasses. I'd go on but it would hijack the thread for sure. |

I'm glad the Big Ten stepped up and made this new rule. I remember how disgusted I was with Wisconsin when they danced on our "O" as I sat in our stadium last year. Not only does it inflame, but it is childish and disrespectful. I'm not saying the winning team cannot celebrate, b/c they certainly deserve that by winning; however, when it comes to dancing in the middle of an opponent's field or planting a flag in the same place, there's only immature, disrepectful motives underlying such actions, and accordingly it should be stopped.

I wouldn't want to do that. If you're interested, PM me and I'll go into it. I want to read this discussion because if you prohibit the winning team from doing it away from home, how about the home team after a win. Or, how about the criminoles, the indian, and the spear??? Don't they do that away and at home?

i heard that penn state did their own version of "jump around" during our game..it'll be interesting to see if anything happens during the penn state wisconsin game

thats a real major too, i saw on one of our games i believe last year and they were listing the starting O and D and one of our players was majoring in Turf Science, another was majoring in Physical Education |
