You guys are getting me fired up about this kid! He sounds like exactly the kind of OL we need to get and keep getting. Enjoy the trips to Notre Dame and Ann Arbor Alex so you'll know you've made the right choice in commiting to THE Ohio State University.

Gary Housteau just did a good piece on Boone on BN.
The thing that jumped out at me the most was that Boone reaffirmed his commitment to us 5 times during his interview.
It's safe to say our endzones have Alex Boone painted on them in the familiar scarlet and gray hue.....

I can't wait to see Boone line up next to this guy along with Person in a couple years.

I agree 86. It was very nice and rare to hear someone give respect to JB.
How'd you like Boone's training regimen and partner?
Very impressive to say the least.

very nice- it looks like he is really getting himself back into shape after his elbow injury last year
it also sounds like he has alot of respect for Hennis- maybe those two end up being bookend tackles for tOSU??

Three OT's were rated 5 stars so far by Rivals. Boone, Doering, and a kid from Houston.

Boone no longer a Buckeye cinch?
-------------------------------------------------
Tim Sapp
OUFans.com
While Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward’s offensive tackle Alex Boone concedes that it is likely he will ultimately be a Buckeye, he said he is no longer committed to his home state power. The 6-foot-8 296-pound Boone has decided to open up his recruitment and that’s good news for the Sooners.

Although, I'll believe it when a credible source says it.
