That's awesome news! Boone is an exceptionally important cog in the wheel for a run at a national championship! I think this is also a smart decision by him, as he needed one more year of maturing. He's gonna make a lot more $$$ now in next year's draft.
Importantly, he's also the key to Chris Wells running for the Heisman!

Ohio State offensive tackle Boone to return for senior year
1/13/2008, 10:33 p.m. EST The Associated Press
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) ? Ohio State offensive tackle Alex Boone said Sunday that he'll put off entering the NFL draft for one year to play his senior season with the Buckeyes.
Boone said he wants another chance to win a national championship. Ohio State lost to LSU 38-24 on Jan. 7, the second straight year the Buckeyes came up short in the BCS title game.
The 6-foot-8, 320-pound Boone also said he'd like to compete for the Outland Trophy, which goes to the nation's top college football lineman. Players have until Tuesday to declare for April's NFL draft.

Boone staying; Laurinaitis waiting
Monday, January 14, 2008 2:56 AM

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
 DISPATCH FILE PHOTO
Linebacker James Laurinaitis is the only Ohio State junior who has yet to announce his intentions regarding the NFL draft.
While Ohio State waits to learn whether linebacker James Laurinaitis will return for his senior year, the Buckeyes received plenty of good news yesterday from current and future players who plan to be on campus next season, including massive left tackle Alex Boone. Boone has decided to stay for his senior season after contemplating leaving a year early to enter the NFL draft.
"It doesn't feel right to leave right now," he said.
Last week, linebacker Marcus Freeman said pretty much the same thing, as did cornerback Malcolm Jenkins and receiver Brian Robiskie. Only defensive end Vernon Gholston has said he is leaving early.

with #1, #2, #75, #33 and #80 all returning, we definitley have the Number 1 class in the nation coming in next year.....even if Pryor goes to Michigan (or LSU or PSU or Oregon)
