I watched this earlier tonight. Jake Plummer had the same stupid, glazed look in his eyes that he had last week when Eli Manning drove the length of the field, Germaine-style.

I'll never forget the ASU coach going crazy and raising the roof.
Then watching his world cave in when the Buckeyes scored.
It was my favorite Buckeye childhood memory.

It's part of one of my favorite Buckeye memories too. The wink. Standing on the sidelines, drawing attention to himself screaming at the defense, unsung Joe Germaine's coolness and Plummer melting into the crowd and sitting on the bench as Ohio State marched down the field. The picture of that game still hangs on my office wall beside a large picture of the 'Shoe.
