Orange shoulders on unis?

What's the deal with the orange patch on the shoulder? Virginia Tech had it this past week, and Florida has it today? Looks ugly as hell - another abomination from Nike.

Coastal beat me to it. Florida and Va Tech are the first two teams in the new Gay conference. This all part of the same settlement in which the NCAA agreed to get rid of Indian mascots.

Thats really something that is of personal choice, not nike, guys at my HS do that a lot, except its one sleave brown and one gold at my school. So you can't blame Nike on that one.

I'm not saying it looks good at all, but that its more of a personal choice.

since everyone with longsleeves seems to have it im guessing its nike, not some homemade bull [censored].

No, it may be diffrent with the long sleeves but the short sleeves its not an option. Every team this year wearing nike short sleeves has had 2 color sleeves. Nikes new long sleeve shirts are two colors.

Were there really guys wearing long sleeves in Jacksonville[censored]ingFlorida?! I guess that is NORTHERN Florida - you know - where the polar bears roam free on the shore. Pussies.

I don't know, in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl(2002 season) Ken Horsey was wearing white longsleeves and it was about 72-75 at game time.

I heard it was the debut of nike's "futuristic" series of uni's. I actually like the long sleeve and short sleeve combo. The uf and vt jerseys arent so great however.

no, it's definitely Nike's design. You think it's a coincidence that all of a sudden that Vick's VT jersey has an orange shoulder to match his orange arm?
