today i went to the Buckeye-Gopher game. sat in the corner of the endzone, upper deck. (section 237 if you must know) here's what stood out to me.
-Pittman had a great game today. 186 yards and 2 td's. He seemed to hit all of his holes and didnt try and be the hero. he took what he got and went with it. Congrats to him.
-Troy Smith also had a good game. 14/20 233yds, 3 td's. I liked how he stayed in the pocket and went through his progressions instead of running after santonio wasnt open. Seemed very comfortable today.
-Ashton Youboty was picked on all day. He had one good stop in the beginning but after that Cupito just picked on him all day. It didnt seem like he was playing at 100%. Maybe he just had an off day, i dont know. But it didnt seem like the normal Youboty we usually see.
- The Offensive Line did a nice job today creating holes and keeping the pressure off of Smith. There weren't very many missed assignments, if any. I think they did a stand-up job today
-The defense didnt have the greatest game.......but they stopped minnesota when they needed to, like on 4th downs. Wasnt the best stat game but they got the job done.
-Just one more thought..........Ted Ginn is really fast
