osu N.W. Ohio Meet The Buckeye's

Did any of you get to go to the "Meet The Buckeye's event in Toledo? It was a great evening. Clark Kellogg was the master of ceremonies. Speakers were Jim Tressel, Jim Foster, an Asst. Head B-Ball coach, (OB's health issues), Jack Park, and special honoree's John Hicks and Tom cousineau. Most of the speaches centered on what it means "Being a Buckeye". The B-ball coaches touched on their season and what to expect for next year. Foster talked about the quality of the coaches at TOSU and how JT has helped him in recruiting. Tressel talked about his dad, what he taught him and how he tries to instill those values to his players. John Hicks told how the Buckeye community worked together to help Jack Tatum and how people from other Universities were in awe of what they accomplished. John Hicks said it wan't anything special --- "We're Buckeye's". Tom Cousineau's speach lasted the longest. He told a great story about how he was on the scout team and how he kept busting up a play. He said Woody wasn't very happy. The defensive coach told him "ya know they are going to run that same play right at you". He said he took off at the snap and stopped the play again. He said Woody exploded, tossed him of the field but the next week he was in the 2 deep. Jack Park ended the evening with some stories about Hicks and Cousineau. I had never heard him speak before but came away very impressed. The event raised $40,000 for athletics at TOSU.

I wonder if that is the same story that Cousineau tells in What It Means To Be a Buckeye?
