Will it never end? NEW UNIS Bit of a clash with the Scarlet, but those orange sleeves are starting to grow on me. Surprisingly the pink Nike's seemed to work as well. But if they are going that way the entire team needs to do it. Fallen arches or not Pitcock needs to lose the Rockports. FUNNY BAND STUNT When they announced they would be doing Script Ohio on top of the press box I thought, wow, how privileged I am to be here for such an innovation. But as I watched them one by one fall over the edge into A Deck I was horrified. It looked so real. That JT, what will he be pulling next? PLAY OF THE GAME The Statue of Liberty play was executed perfectly. The entire Illinois D bit on the pump. Then Troy holds the ball and Pittman sets it on fire – a thing of beauty. When thousands of tired and poor started pouring out of the stands and JT accepted them all – well, it brought tears to my eyes. HALFTIME AWARD They are always making some sort of presentation at halftime – often a contribution from a wealthy benefactor. But how special to watch Matta present a check for $1,000,000 dollars. I hope O’Brien puts it to good use. NEW SWEATER VEST Today JT was wearing a sweater vest that said “Who needs brains when you have these?” What is that about? vBETS Too bad about that late TD in garbage time, but points are points. 44-10 didn’t quite cover. BP goes bankrupt once again. CHEERLEADERS So I am on my way out of the stadium and I feel this tap on my shoulder. I turn to see the most beautiful cheerleader I have ever laid eyes on. And, well, I never thought this would happen to me…….

It was disturbing to see that the trend of opponents ripping Buckeye helmets off continued. What was more disturbing was when Kudla decided to return the favor, and they found that the poor QBs head was still in the helmet. More disturbing still was the fact that ESPN kept showing the replay over and over. Those guys are starting to [censored] me off.
