The only person I take over Troy to run OUR offense at this point is Vince Young.

I would go with Troy Smith. Threee years ago people were comparing him to
Micheal Vick. This was when Troy was running the with the scout teams in 2002 and the coaching staff at that time were crediting him for making our N/C team a much better team defensively. Troy is not seeing open receivers yet but given time he will correct that.

Jimotis - Call me crazy, but I don't think these numbers:

Vick-69.0 pass. percent, 1534 pass yards,11-5 tdown/Int, 319 rushing yards

Smith-59.7 pass percent,1265 pass yards,10-3 tdown/Int, 378 rushing yards

Are just yesterday's stats, thus it doens't much matter about which O went against which D yesterday.

I watched that game with a couple guys' I work with last night, who grew up in Florida so they're BIG Hurricane fans(yuck), and they definately opened my eyes alot to whats been going on in the ACC. Did anyone else notice Vick had more turnovers than pass completions btw?

as for the osu offense i would take smith however as a raw qb im not sure. i watched vick quite a few times this year and he definitely looks impressive on his vision and release. he also is more pocket oriented than his brother but if he needs to run he will almost always get the first down. vicks definitely the better athlete but its hard to tell how good he really is. im not ready to write him off after one bad game. smith reminds me more of a mcnabb type player with more running involved(although thats changed lately) and vick reminds me of......well vick just more pass oriented. no offense to vince young but id take troy smith over vince young any time. im still not buying the vince young can of soup.
