I thought it was a clear fumble as well. I believe that the rule for fumbles is that you must catch the ball and make a football move. Now Im not 100% on this, but I thought he caught it and was ready to take off before getting totally SMACKED by Whitner. |

That is correct...all you have to do is make a move with the football and its a catch. I definitely think that this was a fumble. |

it was hard for me to see from midway up 16C if it was a fumble or not. the humorous part of the day was the punter on the fake running out of bounds slipping on the hard stuff and sliding underneath the bench. that made the day right there. guy misses the first down, unexpectedly falls out of bounds, then thud.  |
