Ohio had a losing record that year as well. It's not like they were the MAC champs and held their own for two quarters against the mighty bucks.
Next year I hope this game is put away at the half. i don't like letting "lesser" teams hang around.

Actually dumbass my application got rejected from THE Ohio State University, but was accepted to that shitty ass OU school... I go there only because I refer to it as the Athens branch campus of tOSU... and please stop pretending like you're a real OU Bobcats fan, because there really are none. Trust me, the only time people cheer for OU football is when ESPN is there (ie. Pitt in '05) or it's homecoming... otherwise they don't give a shit, and so it's nothing Solich can do about it, because he won't have another year where he even has a chance to go above .500, because his ONLY weapon Kalvin McCrae is gone. Solich will be gone soon... I would put a number next to this statement (like 3 years), if they still didn't keep Tim O'Shea... lame, if O'Shea is still there then Solich will be there until he retires, even though he should be fired in no less than 3 years. O' Shea is just as bad a coach as Solich, and should have been fired last year.

Buddy... you gotta realize that we're talking about OU... OU!!! They are easily one of the worst MAC teams of all time, I really could give a shit less if they were tied 10-10 with the Buckeyes in '99 at halftime (the first tOSU team to not make a bowl in 10+ years)... the final score was 40-16... enough said.

That would be the kind interpretation, but I see it from another perspective.
Ohio State is an internationally respected institution and attracts investment because of the intellectual resources it has built and the much larger student base and administrative structure it manages, which are a result of many decades of work that continues today.
These guys are rent-seekers who simply want to line up like pigs at a trough and eat Ohio State's lunch. It really isn't that difficult, just bump up your numbers, provide a place where gifted professors can do world-class work and it will all fall in place. It just takes hard work.
But, geez, stop trying to eat our lunch.
