I didn't suggest that we don't have marginal students at OSU. But there is clear shift in academic excellence overall.

It seems that the entire NCAA as a whole has a renewed emphasis on academics.

A - He did buy into the Florida speed myth.
B - He had good recruiting connections (better) out of state than in-state when he arrived, and leant on those connections.
C - He reportedly did not develop good relations with each and every HS coach of note in Ohio.
Hence he didn't recruit Ohio heavy by choice, by inclination and by virtue of poorer than perfect local politics.

Other than that, he had a pretty good handle on it is what you're saying then, right?

But one thing Coop was good at was offensive plays. You can't dispute the calls he would make, he is better at the offensive game than tressel is. And you can also say that coop isn't nearly as good of a Defensive coach as tressel. I would love if cooper was our Offensive Coordinator, we would be unstopable.

He did call some good plays but what always burnt me up was 3rd and long and he's trying to run Nicky Sualua up the middle for a 14 yard gain.
The ole FB draw was a fave on 3rd and long.
Drove me nuts for some reason.
