When is the Jumping in Mirror Lake?

let me tell you, I went there tongiht and us students were going wild! we are pumped for this game, and the atmosphere is just buzzing up here on campus

it was actually a great night to have this, the weather wasn't terribly cold

after all of this, i'm just left with being freakin pumped up for the game on saturday! go bucks!!!!!!!!!

Sorry in advance to anybody on the works crew at OSU, but i was the jerk who infamously did a backflip off the fountain a few years back. The good news is that it made for a lot of great pictures, the bad news is that the fountain sprayed sideways for about three weeks afterwards!

It was absolutely awesome last night. It was my first time going since im a transfer student. I never imagined it being that crazy. I saw ALOT of naked people, too bad most were males. I dont really have that great of a story, but I did jump in last night. I had no idea Mirror Lake was that shallow. I did a cannon ball and hit the bottom rather quickly. I woke up with bruises and scraps all over my back. Anyways, it was awesome, I dont think I ever heard so many people saying [censored] MICHIGAN at once.

The west end of it is actually kind of deep, well over 10 feet probably, the other end is not so deep at all though

A bunch of my friends surfed mirror lake right when they filled it after redoing it a couple years back, it was a sight ot behold, you could see the bottom of the lake...last year there was a huge goldfish infestation, some of them were HUGE, over a foot long...the day after the jump-in the ground crew was out skimming dead fish, it was hilarious.

However I would never jump into that disease hole of a lake

I jumped in Mirror Lake for both of Coop's wins against scUM. Not a pleasant experience.

4th straight year for me jumping in.
Wouldnt miss it for the world! Absolute craziness.
It wasnt too bad this year as it was really warm out.
Last 3 years were freezing!
