I can't believe the ignorance of a lot of the posters on that board. I went to the above link and read the entire 5 page thread....there were a significant number of posters there, including the author of the so-called ranking above, that actually said the Big 10 will be down this year. What really makes this so humorous, of course, is the fact that these embicilic statements are coming from PAC 10 fans. Because the Pac 10 is so tough these days......yeah, and Santa announced his engagement to the tooth fairy yesterday as well.

What are we against the PAC-10 the last few years? Off the top of my head, the only loss was UCLA. Wins against UCLA, Wazzu, Washington, AZ State (going back to the Rose)...

I don't think we should be a top ten team preseason.... however if some of our question marks gel, I'd be surprised not to find us in the top ten at the end of the season...
The Big Ten, SEC, Big 12, and now the ACC are all better conferences than the Pac 10 IMO... outside of USC, who does the Pac 10 have... one team does not make a conference...

Truth is, the Pac 10 sucks, and this moron has 3 Pac 10 teams in his top 10. Yeah, right. Oregon at #5? Please. Not to mention, if USC repeats their history (as they have the last two years alone), they'll blow some easy conference game and lose to Cal or UCLA, and fail to go undefeated AGAIN.
