the most updated draft position rankings dont even have youboty in the top 15 cb's eligible for the draft.
i have never really thought he was a strong possibility to leave, and he isnt having the stellar season he needs to raise his stock. we'll see what happens.

which site? he's definitely a national name. I'm not saying he's the best, but he's pretty well known. You don't shut down two AA wrs in back to back weeks and go unnoticed (stubblefield & edwards)

I'm pretty confident Yabouty is sticking around. Witner too. I think Santonio will be our lone "early" entry.

i have to say that I think his stock does go higher. If he comes back next year and lights it up, he moves up higher in the draft. Right now he is the best WR, but not going to be the #1 pick, if he has a monster season next year he could rise to the the #1 pick.

I don't think Holmes has the size to be the #1 WR in the draft whenever he goes. There will always be a 6'4" prototypical WR out there that will look sexier to drafters than Holmes will. I think Holmes would be great in the Colts offense, if they needed another WR. If he falls to the second round he will be a steal.

Agreed about Holmes. While he may be considered the best college WR, the NFL has different standards. Not saying those standards are right or wrong but they love tall physicall receivers that have speed. Unless Holmes grows an inch or two he will not go top 15. He may go late in the 1st round depending on need and how many "big" receivers are in this draft.
While I would love to have Holmes for the Browns in the 2nd round I have my mind made up that I want Carpenter in the 2nd round in Orange & Brown being the stud rush LB in the 3-4 we need.

Vicks gotta stay outta trouble too. I wouldnt put my team on the shoulders of a kid who might not be there week to week in the NFL. Vick has alot of growing up to do before he can be a gamebreaker week in and week out at the next level, IMO.
