From the Michigan site.............Gant says that Michigan is the team to beat but that he was informed by their staff that the class was filling up. They asked him to verbal and then take his visits, he said he will take his visits first.

This tactic backfired for LLLLoyd with Larimore, let's see how it works with Gant...

His videos do not make it seem he can be a FB at the next level. He looks big in his Rivals profile photo, but in the videos he doesn't. He does look to have great speed though... obviously once he gets settled into a college strength and conditioning program he will get bigger, but does he have the FB instincts like an Aram Olson?

Honestly, I really don't see him on the offensive side of the ball. He flies around and is really aggressive on defense, so that's why I think he's LB/S all the way.

With the departure of AY and DW, various folks are saying to keep an eye on Aaron's recruitment in the next few weeks...
Scout $
1/8
Aaron enjoyed his visit to Washington and was very impressed with Coach Willingham. He will visit tOSU this weekend and then Michigan the following week before deciding.

It would be cool to make serious inroads in Michigan. The '07 class has some talent. If we start plucking mulitple kids in a given year and beat scUM for them (Barksdale) it could hasten (unfortunately) LLLLoyd's demise.....

Michigan in '07 will have more in state talent than I can remember for a long time. It's about time for them to feel what it's like to lose a Howard or Manningham......
